Based on the BH1750FVI sensor chip, it provides direct 16-bit digital lux output through an I2C interface, eliminating the need for analog conversion or calibration. The module supports a wide detection range from 0 to 65535 lux and operates with 3V–5V power supply. It is ideal for smart lighting, automation systems, weather stations, and Arduino or Raspberry Pi projects.

The GY-302 BH1750 Light Intensity Sensor Module is a compact and high-precision digital illumination sensor designed for measuring ambient light intensity. It is based on the original ROHM BH1750FVI sensor chip, which integrates a 16-bit analog-to-digital converter for accurate lux measurements.

Unlike traditional analog light sensors, the GY-302 provides direct digital output through the I2C communication interface, eliminating the need for external ADC components and reducing software complexity. The sensor closely matches the human eye’s spectral sensitivity, making it ideal for applications that require realistic ambient light detection.

The module supports a wide measurement range from 0 to 65535 lux, enabling precise light sensing in both low-light and bright environments.
