A high-precision 3-axis angular velocity sensor module based on the L3G4200D chip, compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi via I2C or SPI interface. Ideal for motion detection, robotics, and orientation tracking.
The L3G4200D GY-50 is a breakout board featuring the L3G4200D MEMS gyroscope sensor, capable of measuring angular velocity across three axes: X, Y, and Z. With digital output over I2C or SPI, it offers seamless integration with microcontrollers and SBCs like Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
This sensor is ideal for motion-sensing, robotics, gesture detection, stabilization, and orientation control in various embedded systems. It provides accurate measurements of angular rates in degrees per second (°/s), supporting selectable ranges of ±250, ±500, and ±2000 °/s.
The GY-50 module comes with onboard voltage regulation and pull-up resistors, making it plug-and-play ready for 3.3V and 5V systems.
