PLA-CF by Bambu Lab is a composite filament made by blending standard PLA with finely milled carbon fibers. This formulation boosts the filament's rigidity, tensile strength, and impact resistance, making it an excellent choice for functional parts, fixtures, or aesthetic prints requiring a matte, textured finish.
Despite the addition of carbon fibers, PLA-CF retains the low-warp characteristics of PLA and is easy to print on open-frame printers. The carbon fibers also provide a beautiful matte surface that reduces layer visibility and enhances visual appeal. It is especially well-suited for high-speed printing on Bambu Lab printers and is fully compatible with the AMS system for multi-color workflows.
