The Teensy 4.0 Lockable is a compact yet extremely powerful microcontroller board built around the NXP MIMXRT1062 ARM Cortex-M7 processor running at 600 MHz. It belongs to the “Crossover MCU” category, combining real-time responsiveness with application-level performance.
This lockable version is specifically intended for finalized products, allowing developers to permanently secure their firmware using programmable eFuses. Once locked, the code is encrypted, JTAG debugging is disabled, and only authorized firmware can run on the device, ensuring complete IP protection.
With advanced memory architecture using Tightly Coupled Memory (TCM), hardware floating-point support, cryptographic acceleration, and rich high-speed peripherals, the Teensy 4.0 Lockable is ideal for demanding, security-critical embedded applications.
