The SONOFF SNZB-05P Zigbee Water Leak Sensor is a smart safety device designed to protect homes and properties from water damage and flooding. Using Zigbee 3.0 technology, it provides stable, low-power communication and seamless integration with popular Zigbee hubs and smart home platforms.
The sensor features elevated gold-plated probes capable of detecting water levels as low as approximately 0.5 mm. For expanded coverage, the SNZB-05P supports optional external leak detection cables that can be daisy-chained without length limitation.
When water is detected, the sensor sends instant push notifications through the connected app and can trigger local Zigbee automations such as alarms, smart valves, or power shutdowns. These local scenes continue to function even if the internet connection is unavailable, ensuring uninterrupted protection.
