The Modbus RTU 8-Channel Latching Relay Module (C) is a professional industrial relay control solution designed for automation and remote switching applications via RS485 communication. It adopts the standard Modbus RTU protocol, ensuring compatibility with PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, and industrial controllers.
This module features 8 latching relays, allowing each relay to retain its state even after power loss. This ensures operational continuity and prevents unexpected switching after system restart.
Designed for industrial environments, it integrates multiple protection circuits including onboard power isolation, magnetic isolation for signal protection, TVS (Transient Voltage Suppressor) for surge suppression, resettable fuse for over-current protection, and reverse polarity protection. These features enhance reliability, safety, and resistance to electrical interference.
The module supports configurable device addresses (1–255), enabling multiple units to be cascaded on the same RS485 bus. It also provides flash-on and flash-off functionality, allowing timed switching operations through command parameters.
