The RS485-HUB-2P is an industrial-grade isolated RS485 hub designed to expand a single RS485 master port into two independent RS485 sub-ports. It enables signal relay, network extension, and electrical isolation, making it suitable for robust industrial communication systems. The hub provides reliable data transmission in harsh industrial environments and is cost-effective with a simple rail-mounted installation.
Each RS485 port can support up to 32 nodes, and the hub allows half-duplex transparent transmission in two-wire RS485 mode (A/B). The device automatically adapts to baud rates from 300 to 460,800 bps, while supporting communication distances up to 1200 meters at 9600 bps. With a wide operating temperature range (-45°C to +85°C) and humidity tolerance (<95% RH), the hub is suitable for industrial IoT gateways, intelligent instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and security monitoring applications.
The unit is powered via screw terminal input (DC 5–36V), and standard parallel or twisted-pair cables can be used for RS485 transmission.
