The ESP32-C5-DevKitC-1 is an entry-level development board built around the ESP32-C5-WROOM-1 module, delivering dual-band WiFi 6 (2.4GHz & 5GHz), Bluetooth LE 5, Zigbee, and Thread connectivity. It features dual USB Type-C ports, a high-speed USB-to-UART bridge (up to 3 Mbps), onboard RGB LED, Boot and Reset buttons, and a DC/DC power regulator. With breadboard-friendly GPIO access and ESP-IDF support, it is ideal for IoT prototyping, wireless research, and smart automation development.

Wifi

The ESP32-C5-DevKitC-1 is a versatile and powerful development platform designed for next-generation wireless and IoT applications. It is built around the ESP32-C5-WROOM-1 module from Espressif Systems, supporting advanced multiprotocol connectivity including dual-band WiFi 6 (802.11ax), Bluetooth LE 5, Zigbee, and Thread (IEEE 802.15.4).

The board provides access to most GPIO pins via dual side headers, making it breadboard-friendly and ideal for rapid prototyping using jumper wires. It features two USB Type-C ports: one for USB-to-UART communication at speeds up to 3 Mbps, and another supporting USB 2.0 full-speed for flashing and native device communication.

A high-efficiency 5V to 3.3V DC/DC regulator ensures stable power conversion. An onboard addressable RGB LED (GPIO27) provides programmable visual feedback. The board also includes Boot and Reset buttons for simplified firmware flashing and system control. Additionally, a dedicated current measurement header (J5) allows precise power profiling of the module during development.

Fully compatible with the ESP-IDF framework and supported by extensive documentation, the ESP32-C5-DevKitC-1 accelerates embedded development across IoT, automation, and wireless networking applications.
