Built around the SIMCom A7670G chipset, this internal module supports LTE Category 1 (Cat-1) – a 4G standard that delivers sufficient data rates for most IoT use cases (up to 10 Mbps downlink / 5 Mbps uplink) while consuming significantly less power than higher LTE categories.
A key feature is the 2G GSM fallback capability. In areas where 4G LTE coverage is weak or unavailable, the module automatically switches to GSM networks (2G), ensuring continuous communication – critical for fleet tracking, remote sensors, or alarm systems operating in rural or underground environments. The module accepts a Nano-SIM card and requires an external antenna (not included) to optimize signal reception.
