Buzzer 5V Electric Magnetic Active

The 5V Active Electromagnetic Buzzer is a compact audio signaling device that produces a clear and loud tone when powered. Built with a durable black ABS plastic housing, it operates at a rated voltage of 5V DC and delivers a minimum sound output of 85dB at 10cm. With its built-in oscillator, it generates sound immediately upon receiving DC voltage—no external circuitry needed. Ideal for alarms, alerts, Arduino projects, timers, and notification systems, its small size and two-terminal design make integration quick and simple.

Sound & Amplifier Modules

The 5V Active Electromagnetic Buzzer is a small but powerful audio signaling component widely used in electronic projects to produce audible tones for alerts, alarms, and notifications. As an active buzzer, it contains an internal oscillator circuit that generates the sound waveform automatically when DC voltage is applied—unlike passive buzzers, which require an external signal source to produce sound. This makes the active buzzer extremely easy to use, as simply connecting it to a 5V power source causes it to emit a continuous tone at approximately 2300 Hz. The buzzer is housed in a durable black ABS plastic casing that protects the internal electromagnetic components from dust, moisture, and mechanical damage. Its two-terminal design (positive and negative) makes wiring straightforward, and it can be directly controlled by a microcontroller GPIO pin through a transistor switch. With a rated current of only 30mA and a sound pressure level of 85dB at 10cm, it provides clear audible alerts without consuming significant power. The buzzer is compact at only 9mm in length and 11.8mm in diameter, making it perfect for space-constrained projects such as wearable devices, portable alarms, and embedded systems.
