The ISD1700 Series Voice Recording Module is a versatile and easy-to-use audio recording and playback solution based on the ISD1700 series voice chips. It is designed for use with Arduino, AVR, PIC microcontrollers, and standalone embedded applications.

The module supports multiple voice recordings with high-quality, non-compressed FLASH memory storage, ensuring reliable data retention even after power loss. It provides selectable sampling frequencies between 4KHz and 12KHz, allowing users to balance audio quality and recording duration according to application requirements.

The board includes both microphone input and analog audio input channels for flexible audio recording options. It also features integrated operation prompts, LED indicators, and audio feedback tones for functions such as recording start, stop, erase, and playback operations.

In standalone mode, the module can operate directly using onboard buttons without requiring any external microcontroller. For advanced applications, the module supports SPI communication, enabling detailed chip control, memory addressing, and analog path configuration through external controllers.

Its compact design and complete pin breakout make it suitable for educational projects, voice alarm systems, smart devices, and embedded voice playback applications.
