The MS-50-5 Switching Power Supply converts 110V or 220V AC mains into a stable 5V DC output at up to 10A (50W), making it well-suited for powering long LED strips, Arduino and Raspberry Pi rigs, CCTV cameras, and 5V automation projects. Built into a compact ventilated metal enclosure with fanless convection cooling, it features a power-on LED indicator, short-circuit and overload protection, and is 100% full-load burn-in tested before shipment.
The MS-50-5 is a 50-watt enclosed switching power supply designed for projects that need more current than a standard wall adapter can provide. With a regulated 5V DC output at up to 10A, it has the headroom needed to drive long runs of addressable LED strips, multi-board prototyping setups, USB charging stations, and clusters of 5V sensors or relay modules without sagging under load.
Compared to the smaller 7A version, the MS-50-5 offers roughly 40% more current, making it the right choice when you're running denser pixel displays, several Raspberry Pi boards on one bench, or driving accessories that draw heavy peak current at startup. The unit accepts both 110V and 220V AC input, and the output is finely adjustable via an onboard trimmer to compensate for voltage drops over long cable runs — important for 5V LED installations where even small losses can shift color and brightness.
Cooling is fanless, relying on free-air convection through the ventilated metal chassis, so operation is silent and there are no moving parts to wear out. Screw terminals are provided for both AC input and DC output, and the housing includes side-flange mounting holes for permanent installation inside enclosures, control panels, or display fixtures.
