The S-35-5 is a 35-watt enclosed switching power supply that converts standard mains AC into a stable, regulated 5V DC output suitable for a wide range of low-voltage electronics. With its 7A current rating, it has enough headroom to comfortably drive long runs of 5V LED strips (WS2812B, SK6812, and similar addressable types), multiple Arduino or microcontroller boards on a workbench, USB-powered devices via a buck terminal, and small DC motors or sensor arrays.
The unit accepts both 110V and 220V AC input, making it suitable for use in different regions and giving designers flexibility when shipping or relocating equipment. Output voltage is finely adjustable via a small trimmer potentiometer on the side of the unit, allowing precise tuning around the 5V nominal value to compensate for cable voltage drops on longer runs.
