The Laser Receiver Sensor Module is an electronic sensing device used to detect laser light and convert it into a digital output signal that can be read by microcontrollers, development boards, and automation systems. When the receiver detects a laser beam, the output switches to a HIGH logic level, indicating the presence of the laser signal. When the laser beam is interrupted or absent, the output changes to a LOW logic level. This simple digital interface allows easy integration with platforms such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and other embedded systems.

The sensor uses a non-modulated laser receiver, meaning it directly detects continuous laser light without filtering specific modulation frequencies. As a result, strong ambient light sources such as sunlight, fluorescent lamps, or intense indoor lighting may affect detection accuracy. For optimal performance, the module should be used indoors in dark or controlled-light environments.
