The MQ-9 Carbon Monoxide and Flammable Gas Sensor Module is designed to monitor the presence and concentration of carbon monoxide (CO) and combustible gases such as methane, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), and other hydrocarbon-based fuels.
Built around the reliable MQ-9 gas sensing element, this module provides both analog and digital outputs, allowing it to be used in a wide variety of gas detection and safety applications. The analog output delivers a voltage proportional to the detected gas concentration, while the digital output generates a LOW-level TTL signal when gas levels exceed the user-defined threshold.
An onboard potentiometer enables easy adjustment of the digital output sensitivity to suit specific application requirements. The module features an onboard LED indicator for power and status monitoring, simplifying installation and operation.
Operating at 5V DC and consuming less than 150mA, the MQ-9 sensor can be easily integrated with Arduino boards, Raspberry Pi systems, and other microcontrollers.
