With dimensions of only 18 × 18 × 6 mm and a weight of 4.9 g, the BN-180 is ideal for applications where size, weight, and positioning accuracy are critical.

GSM & GPS

The BN-180 Mini Dual GLONASS + GPS Module is an ultra-compact GNSS positioning module designed for drones, RC aircraft, robotics, and embedded navigation systems. It integrates the M8030-KT GNSS chipset, offering reliable reception from multiple satellite constellations including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, and SBAS.

The module provides up to 72 search channels, enabling fast satellite acquisition and stable positioning even in challenging environments. With a tracking sensitivity of -167 dBm and horizontal positioning accuracy of 2 meters CEP, the BN-180 delivers precise navigation performance for aerial and ground-based applications.

Communication is handled through a UART TTL interface, supporting baud rates from 4800 bps to 921600 bps, with 9600 bps as the default setting. The module outputs standard NMEA-0183 messages and also supports the UBX protocol for advanced configuration.

Its compact dimensions of 18 × 18 × 6 mm and lightweight design of only 4.9 g make it especially suitable for space-constrained applications such as mini drones and portable navigation devices.

The BN-180 includes onboard status LEDs for data transmission and GPS fix indication, making system monitoring simple during development and operation.
