Servo Motors

The RB-150CS Continuous Rotation Servo Motor is the newest generation 360-degree rotation servo designed for robotics, automation, and motion-control projects. Unlike standard servos that move to a specific angular position, this servo is engineered for continuous bidirectional rotation, where the PWM signal controls the direction and speed rather than position. This makes it perfect for driving wheels, pulleys, conveyors, and rotating mechanisms.

With a robust internal gear train delivering up to 16 kg-cm of stall torque at 7.2V, the RB-150CS provides ample power for small to medium robotic platforms. Its smooth operation, fast response, and consistent speed control make it especially suitable for two-wheel and four-wheel mobile robots, line-following robots, balancing robots, and other educational and prototyping applications.

The servo accepts a standard PWM control signal and connects easily to any microcontroller through its universal 3-pin servo connector. The 300mm heavy-duty wire simplifies wiring inside robot chassis. Combined with its wide operating voltage range (4.8V – 7.2V), the RB-150CS is a versatile drive solution for both beginners and advanced robotics builders.

Note: Because this is a continuous rotation servo, the PWM pulse width determines rotation direction and speed:

  • ~1.5 ms pulse → Stop
  • < 1.5 ms → Rotate in one direction
  • > 1.5 ms → Rotate in the opposite direction
