





The MG996R Metal Gear Servo Motor is a powerful 180-degree high-torque servo delivering up to 15 kg-cm of stall torque at 6V. The MG996R Servo Motor is a high-performance, high-torque digital servo widely used in robotics, RC vehicles, and automation projects. It is essentially an upgraded version of the famous MG995 servo, featuring a redesigned PCB and IC control system that significantly improves accuracy, response time, and centering precision. The internal gearing and motor have also been upgraded, resulting in a tighter dead bandwidth and smoother movement under load.
Built with all-metal gears and supported by dual ball bearings, the MG996R is engineered for durability and stable operation, even under continuous load or vibration. The robust mechanical construction makes it shock-resistant and well-suited for demanding applications such as aircraft control surfaces, robotic joints, and steering systems where precise positioning is critical.
The servo provides a standard 180-degree rotation range and is compatible with most common receiver and microcontroller signals, including Futaba, Hitec, Sanwa, and GWS systems, as well as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, and other PWM-capable controllers. With a heavy-duty 300mm connector wire, it can be easily integrated into a wide variety of project setups.
Note: This is the normal quality version of the MG996R. For high-load continuous applications, ensure proper power supply through an external adapter to maintain stable performance and prolong service life.
