The Imax-B6AC is a professional-grade multi-chemistry battery charger and discharger built for serious RC hobbyists, drone pilots, and electronics enthusiasts who require safe, precise, and reliable battery management. With its microprocessor-controlled circuitry and integrated balancer, the B6AC delivers fast and balanced charging for nearly every battery technology used in modern RC and DIY applications.

The charger supports a wide range of battery chemistries — LiPo, Li-ion, LiFe, NiCd, NiMH, and Pb (Lead-Acid) — making it a true "all-in-one" solution. It can handle 1–6S Li-based packs and 1–15S Ni-based packs, while also charging lead-acid batteries from 2V to 20V. The unit features a powerful 80W max charge output, with charging currents adjustable from 0.1A to 5.0A, and discharge currents from 0.1A to 1.0A.

Unlike basic chargers, the Imax-B6AC includes a built-in AC adapter, providing dual-power flexibility: it can run from a standard wall outlet (100–240V AC) or from a 12V power source (DC 11–18V) such as a car battery, making it equally useful at home and in the field. The integrated balance charging system monitors individual cell voltages, ensuring that all cells in a pack are charged evenly to maximize battery life and safety.

A wide array of safety features is built into the unit, including delta-peak sensitivity, capacity cutoff, processing time limits, temperature monitoring, and input power monitoring, all designed to protect both the charger and the connected battery. The storage mode stores LiPo batteries safely for long-term storage, and the memory function allows users to save up to 5 different battery packs for instant recall.
