The HS1101 Capacitive Humidity Sensor is a precision humidity sensing component designed for accurate and stable measurement of relative humidity in environmental monitoring and control systems. The sensor uses advanced capacitive sensing technology, where humidity changes alter the sensor capacitance and generate a proportional frequency response through a simple RC interface circuit.
The HS1101 provides reliable humidity measurements across a wide operating range of 10% to 95% RH with an accuracy of approximately ±5% RH. Its near-linear frequency output simplifies signal processing and integration with microcontrollers, embedded systems, and analog measurement circuits.
The sensor is designed for stable long-term operation and offers excellent temperature characteristics over a temperature range of -40°C to 80°C. An optional 10KΩ NTC temperature sensor (HTF3223) can be used for temperature compensation and improved environmental monitoring accuracy.
