Arduino Shield

The Arduino CNC Shield V3 is a compact and efficient control shield designed for CNC routers, milling machines, laser engravers, and other precision motion-control applications. The shield is specifically developed for use with the Arduino UNO platform and works seamlessly with the popular GRBL open-source firmware, which converts G-code commands into precise stepper motor control signals.

The board includes four removable driver sockets compatible with Pololu-style stepper driver modules such as the A4988 and DRV8825, allowing independent control of the X, Y, Z, and optional A-axis stepper motors. Microstepping configuration jumpers are provided for each driver to improve motion smoothness and positioning accuracy.

Additional connectors simplify the integration of limit switches, spindle control, coolant systems, and external control buttons. The shield supports motor supply voltages from 12V to 36V, depending on the installed driver modules.

With its compact design and straightforward connectivity, the Arduino CNC Shield V3 is widely used in DIY CNC machines, laser cutting systems, robotic positioning systems, and educational automation projects.
