The Original SunnySky V2216-12 800KV Brushless Motor is part of SunnySky's renowned V-Series, widely regarded as one of the most balanced, efficient, and reliable brushless motor lines available for multirotor and RC aircraft applications. With a KV rating of 800, this motor strikes an ideal balance between torque and speed, making it perfect for swinging 10-inch to 12-inch propellers on multirotor platforms.
The motor features a redesigned prop adaptor that is mounted to the motor can with 3 screws, providing superior centralization and balance compared to traditional single-bolt designs. This translates directly into smoother operation, less vibration, and longer motor and propeller life.
Internally, the motor is built with premium components: long-life Japanese NMB ball bearings, highly efficient Japanese Kawasaki stator steel, rare earth magnets stable up to 180°C, and oxygen-free pure copper windings. The motor case is precisely CNC machined from aluminum, while silicone wire leads ensure excellent flexibility and high-temperature endurance. SunnySky's patented balancing techniques and unique wiring method further contribute to the motor's exceptional smoothness and efficiency.
Based on test data, the V2216-12 800KV produces around 830g of thrust at full throttle on a 3S battery with an APC 10x3.8 propeller, and up to 1320g of thrust on a 4S battery with a ZX 11x4.7 Carbon Fiber propeller — providing a wide operational range for many aircraft configurations.
