It combines a high-quality RC absorption network and an integrated MOV varistor to absorb inductive kickback and limit transient overvoltages. Power Modules

The AC/DC 5V–400V RC Snubber Circuit Module is an essential protection device for power electronics and switching applications involving inductive loads. The module integrates a resistor-capacitor (RC) absorption network together with a Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) to suppress high-voltage transients generated when inductive devices such as motors, relays, solenoids, transformers, and contactors are switched off.

By absorbing inductive kickback and reducing high-frequency noise, the module prevents contact arcing, minimizes relay wear, and protects semiconductor switching devices including thyristors, triacs, and solid-state relays. The built-in MOV provides additional surge suppression by clamping excessive voltage spikes before they can damage sensitive components.

Its non-polar design allows operation in both AC and DC circuits, making installation simple and versatile. The module significantly improves electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), reduces interference with nearby electronic circuits, and increases the reliability and service life of industrial, commercial, and automation systems.
