IR DISTANCE SENSING MODULE 45CM

5.0(1 review)
SKU: ME-600
JD2.75

The IR Distance Sensing Module (5–45 cm) detects solid objects using infrared reflection and provides a digital output for easy interfacing. Its range is adjustable via the on-board potentiometer, making it ideal for robots, automation, and object-avoidance systems. Operating on 3–6V, it delivers reliable detection with a 35° sensing angle and TTL-level output.

Proximity & Distance Sensors

The IR Distance Sensing Module is designed to detect solid objects using infrared reflection technology and provides a simple digital output for microcontrollers, robots, and automation systems. It features an adjustable detection range of approximately 5 to 45 cm, controlled by an on-board potentiometer, allowing it to adapt to various environmental and surface conditions.

This compact and efficient module operates with a supply voltage of 3–6V and consumes only 20 mA. With a 35° effective sensing angle and TTL-level output, it is suitable for obstacle detection, proximity sensing, and object-avoidance applications. Its 4-pin interface (-/+/S/EN) ensures easy integration with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and other control boards.

The module outputs 0 when an object is detected and 1 when no object is present, providing straightforward logic for automation and robotic systems.
