  • Overcharge Protection prevents individual cells from being charged beyond their safe voltage limit (typically 3.65V per LiFePO4 cell), preventing dangerous gas formation and thermal runaway.
  • Over-Discharge Protection automatically disconnects the load when cell voltages drop below the safe minimum (typically 2.5V), preventing irreversible cell damage and capacity loss.
  • Over-Current Protection monitors the current draw and trips when the load exceeds safe limits, protecting both the BMS and the battery cells.
  • Short-Circuit Protection instantly disconnects the load if a short circuit is detected, preventing fires and battery damage.
  • Cell Balancing equalizes the voltage across all series cells during charging, ensuring optimal pack performance, longer cycle life, and uniform aging across all cells.
