The Solar Charger Controller – LiPo is an efficient and compact charging module designed specifically for managing the safe charging of single-cell Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries using solar energy. It ensures stable energy conversion from solar panels while protecting the battery from overcharging, overcurrent, and voltage fluctuations.
The module accepts a solar panel input voltage range of 4.8V to 6.5V, making it suitable for small solar charging systems. It regulates the output charging voltage to a constant 4.2V with a charging current of approximately 200mA, which is ideal for standard single-cell LiPo batteries.
An onboard indicator system shows charging status, where the CHARGE LED remains on during charging and changes state once the battery is fully charged. Additionally, the module supports a 5V USB output (up to 100mA) when the toggle switch is enabled, allowing it to power small electronic devices directly.
