The Solar Charger Controller – LiPo is an efficient and compact charging module designed specifically for managing the safe charging of single-cell Lithium Polymer (LiPo) batteries using solar energy. It ensures stable energy conversion from solar panels while protecting the battery from overcharging, overcurrent, and voltage fluctuations.
The module accepts a solar panel input voltage range of 4.8V to 6.5V, making it suitable for small solar charging systems. It regulates the output charging voltage to a constant 4.2V with a charging current of approximately 200mA, which is ideal for standard single-cell LiPo batteries.
An onboard indicator system shows charging status, where the CHARGE LED remains on during charging and changes state once the battery is fully charged.
