Very popular &economical sensor for object detection. M18 threaded, cylindrical sensor.

It is used at mini sumo and sumo robots for years. Due to it is easy usage. It is preferred sensor for opponent detection.

At back side sensor’s range can be decreased or increased (10-80 cm for White Surfaces) with turning trimpot head screw.

Cable Colors:

Two alternative wire colors are standard for the sensor outputs. Check the model you have.

NO.1:

Yellow: NPN Output (Logic Level)

Red : 5V

Black: 0V (GND)

NO.2:

Black: NPN Output (Logic Level)

Brown: 5V

Blue: 0V (GND)
